Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of vktrLAB. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for account credentials and activity under your account. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.
4. Description of Service
vktrLAB provides image conversion workflows and related tooling for maker/CNC/engraving use cases. Outputs may include SVG, DXF, and other format variants depending on plan entitlement.
5. Subscription Billing and Auto-Renewal
Paid plans renew automatically by default on the billing cycle shown at checkout.
You authorize recurring charges until cancellation. Taxes, if applicable, may be added by the payment processor. Pricing and plan details are shown in-app and at checkout.
6. Cancellation and Downgrades
You can cancel any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.
Downgrades may reduce feature access immediately or at renewal depending on plan design and system behavior.
7. Refund Policy
Except where required by law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe there was an error in billing, contact support and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
8. Commercial Use License by Plan
License rights vary by plan:
- Free tier: personal / non-commercial use only.
- Hobbyist: commercial use permitted.
- Maker Pro: commercial use permitted.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and transform source content.
9. Data Usage for Product and Model Improvement
We may use anonymized and aggregated service data to improve reliability, UX, and model quality. We do not intentionally include direct personal identifiers in model-improvement datasets. Opt-out controls may be updated over time and documented in our Privacy Policy.
10. Referral Program Terms (Placeholder)
A referral program may be introduced later. Until official launch terms are published, no referral rewards or credits are guaranteed.
11. Output Disclaimer
Output files are generated algorithmically and may require manual review before production use. You are responsible for validating CNC/laser compatibility and safety.
12. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, vktrLAB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from service use.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, fraud risk, legal requirements, or operational safety concerns.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable U.S. law and the laws of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
15. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material updates are effective when posted with a revised date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
